I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan, where I focused on multimedia work incorporating illustration, painting and fiber arts.  In my professional career as an artist, I seek to bring creative designs and a little bit of fun into places where it may be uncommon. My work has ranged from humorous comics to colorful infographic posters to detailed paintings that address hard topics.
I pride myself in being a fast and eager learner, picking up new skills when my creative vision demands them or perhaps when my peers influence me. I love to take advantage of opportunities, whether that be the daunting task of mastering stone lithography or putting in hours over winter break to get ahead on my capstone project.
Overall, I aim to bring my interdisciplinary education to the forefront of whatever challenge I face, trying a variety of approaches and mediums to tackle the task at hand so that the best outcome can be achieved. Working in various fields, both related to and not related to art, has prepared me for the unexpected that comes with being an artist in today's world.
